Jared has been in law enforcement for over ten years, during which he was assigned to Patrol as a Field Training Officer, the Community Response Team, the Direct Action Response Team, the Surveillance and Investigation Unit, the School Resource Division, the Intelligence and Gang Unit, the United States Marshals Counter Gang Unit, and the
Jared has been in law enforcement for over ten years, during which he was assigned to Patrol as a Field Training Officer, the Community Response Team, the Direct Action Response Team, the Surveillance and Investigation Unit, the School Resource Division, the Intelligence and Gang Unit, the United States Marshals Counter Gang Unit, and the Tourism Policing Unit. Jared was also a member of the Emergency Response Team, and is currently an operator and sniper for SWAT.
Jared is a Florida state certified Defensive Tactics, Firearms, and General Instructor. His specialized training ranges from interviews and interrogations, gangs, specialized weapons and tactics, mobile field force, surveillance and takedown tactics, social media and criminal investigations, criminal interdiction, as well as undercover operations to name a few.
Jared has received several awards for his training and marksmanship, which include the following:

Jared also holds a Master of Arts Degree in Public Safety and Law Enforcement Leadership from the University of St. Thomas, Minnesota and a Bachelors of Arts Degree from St. Olaf College, Minnesota.

Kenny Vanderpool started his career as a Military Working Dog Handler in the United States Air Force. Kenny worked as a MWD K9 handler, K9 trainer, and Kennel Master. He successfully completed Military Working Dog School (patrol & detection), MWD K9 supervisor’s course, and Pre-deployment K9 ground combat operations courses. He deployed a
Kenny Vanderpool started his career as a Military Working Dog Handler in the United States Air Force. Kenny worked as a MWD K9 handler, K9 trainer, and Kennel Master. He successfully completed Military Working Dog School (patrol & detection), MWD K9 supervisor’s course, and Pre-deployment K9 ground combat operations courses. He deployed and served in the Middle East during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. During his military career he worked both narcotics and explosive dogs, designed and implemented K9 training programs, and supervised all K9 CONUS/OCONUS operations. Upon retiring from the Air Force, he became a police officer in Mississippi where he worked patrol, narcotics, and helped train multiple K9 teams. Kenny relocated back to Central Florida where he began working as a K9 handler/trainer for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. Kenny completed the National Explosive Detection Canine Training Program (NEDCTP) K9 course and has been in the K9 unit at the Orlando Airport for more than 10 years. During his career Kenny has worked and supervised countless VIP details for multiple government officials, over 100 POTUS details, celebrities, the Daytona 500, and other sporting events. Kenny holds an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice. He completed the New Mexico Tech’s Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings (IRTB) course where he became a certified instructor. He completed instructor certifications from St. Petersburg College in specialized Criminal Justice Multi-Jurisdictional counter drug task force operations, incident command & control, explosives/booby traps/and bomb threat management, airport narcotics investigations, patrol drug investigations, and risk management/violence in undercover investigations. Kenny brings over 17 years of K9 utilization, implementation, and management to Expedition Security Solutions Group.

Brandi Vanderpool has over 18 years of Operations management experience. During her career she has managed operations for several multi-million dollar companies and specialty medical practices/clinics within the healthcare industry. Brandi managed day to day operations & human resources, implemented pharmaceutical training & operations oversight, physician credentialing, patient & insurance billing, building maintenance, OSHA compliance, state & federal licensing, multiple new medical office construction oversight, financial tracking & reporting, and more. She obtained specialty focus training in HIPAA compliance, OSHA Compliance, Bio-hazardous Waste Training , Blood Borne Pathogens Training (BBP), and Fraud Waste and Abuse Training. Brandi’s extensive operations management experience and training course development/implementation makes her a vital asset to Expedition Security Solutions Group.
